Halal Food
Does Halal = No pork?
It is not so simple. That's our misconception.
Today I had a lesson. And I learnt how shallow I am.
Halal food means food which is permissible by the Islamic law, from the farm till the mouth of consumer.
Hence the process how the animal is being kept, the prayer, how it is slaughtered, the processing of the carcass, the machine and cooking utensil that we use to cook the meat, the additive that we mix with the food, how the food is presented, contact of the food with halal material till it is put into the mouth of the consumer.
Therefore, we should bear in mind that if the animals are not slaughtered by Muslim with prayers using the halal way, as well as the utensil and ingredient that we use , we might not be able to serve our Malays and Muslim friends with the food that we prepare.
Another option?
Vegetarian food, I guess that 's the only food that we can share with our Muslim friend.

Boleh-land Kini
I think it's really a time for those who always want to keep their hands clean of these to ponder about their attitude towards the issue.
We are part of it. No matter what.
We must be a thinker for country, the community and society that we are living in. I am not saying that we must be rebellious , but think and digest the decision that we make and are made to make.Yes, a follower is an convenient way, as less troubles we are getting in. However, in a democratic country, who are the boss? Who are the master? The people or the government?
The parties that we elect should be able to voice out the people's needs and lead the people towards a better future.
Now, the parties that we erect love to seal our mouth the power and "weapons" that we endorse them and lead their parties towards a better future.
Wake -up , people! In order to march ourselves towards a better future, we must take action!
Shut -up , you party-speaking people! If you can't speak like a man, just shut-up and don't embarrass us by talking like a retard!
How should a leader behave when the people are not satisfied?
Shouldn't you listen up?
It's just a march. A peaceful march.
Man, they are not bringing any weapons, bomb, knife , fire , gun etc to see you.
Just their mouth. Walk in peace. Maybe bringing in a bit of traffic jam.
They are not terrorist, nor riot.
What are you so frightened of?
If you are a justiced Government, why do you wanna twist and turn and beat the bush while facing the media? Why no local papers cover the news? What are there you wanna conceal ?
Perfectionist doesn't make a great man. Great men are those who admit their mistakes and correct their mistakes, in no time! What makes confession so hard? Is it because of the "face " thing? What's more practical and realistic?
I think this applies to the Government too." We can't be perfect, we can't satisfy everyone's requests. " Yes , we can't , but as we work harder , bit by bit, step by step, we'll improve! That' the point! But did you ever try ? Maybe yes, satisfying the greed and lust within those special VIPs.
Face really so important meh? Jaga muka tapi tak jaga maruah/ badan.
Boleh? What are we so capable of? capable of hiding our head into the sand like the ostrich? capable of fantasizing ourselves to be part of the outerspace while people are suffering from poverty?
We are so short-sighted as we only focus on the "one-moment" glory thing. After that one moment, what are we? Nothing but a joker to the outsiders!
Repent your sin and turn to the people!
Otherwise, people will leave you for a better future. And let those rats ruin your body.
People, don't believe what you see on one side. The local papers, the internet, the blogs, etc.
In order to see the whole picture of it, we must not focus on the same angle/ same view.

This is what they show us.

This is the whole picture .Get it?

Daddy’s never coming home
Everybody’s going home
梦无法再寻 才要决心筑起个家
想讲一声多得他
方知怎麼当爸爸
未来哪个叫我归家
我劝他 不要怕
你所缺的爱 早教晓我 做人负责任
我现已没怪任何人
MSN fraud
This is a forwarded mail I got from a friend of mine.
There are lots of MSN fraud, and auto-transfer virus in MSN. Hence just hope you guys will be more careful.
Don't simply accept files being transfered to you on MSN, even though it sounds as if your friend is asking you to do so. It's better to reconfirm with your friends via voice call.
Also, I am really impressed by the "cekap n mesra" performance of our country's police-force.
How are we going to improve the country when everything regarding laws and enforcement is so messed up in the boleh-land?
Or rather it's boleh-lan (烂-滥-懒婪)
Guys! please beware of MSN fraud! Read on:
It happened around 1125am on 19th October 2007. When i was busy with work, a friend suddenly 'IM'ed me using MSN messenger. She used to be my roomate and i am very close with her. So, she asked if i could log in to maybank2u account because she couldn't. As I've tried, i could log in. She asked me for a favor saying that she owed a friend money and been delaying him very long and its kind of urgent to return the money and asked if i could help her to transfer money to her friend first and saying that she'll definitely bank in the money back to me after work that day. The amount she asked was initially RM800, but since i got not that much money in that bank account, she told me to wait as she will ask her friend if its okay paying him RM400 first. So, sensing some kind of emergency here, i without any hesitation (this friend once asked me to lend money to her the same way), I've banked in the amount to the bank account she gave me. The account no. is 1111-1428-6194 and the owner's name is KEW MIN TECK. Well, at the end of the day, after working hour, i still yet to receive any call from my friend regarding the money. So, i smsed her regarding the money. She was shocked about it and asked if she still owe me money. (We stayed together for the past few months, so, sometimes she owes me money for bills...)So, with the thought that she forgot bout it, i mentioned to her that she asked for my help to transfer RM400 to her friend first. With that, she's even more surprised and gave me a call. When i told her about it, she said it must be her email account being hacked already. (FYI - MSN uses email account to login) because she received This guy's number is a SMS from an unknown number saying that he's matthew and he hacked her email and asked her if she wants him to restore for her.012-2141405 which is a prepaid number. I was so shocked with the news and immediately went to Maybank to see if the transfer could be stopped. It was already 720pm at that time, offices already closed down. I've called the maybank hotline and they asked me to make a police report and bring back to Maybank tomorrow. So, i quickly went to the nearest police station and make a report believing that with the guy's bank account number and name, police force could at least track him down or get evidence on him for the crime he's committing. I told my friend to do the same thing and tell her to sms all her friends regarding her account being hacked. At the police station, there's this policewoman at the counter. She asked me where did i do the transaction and i told her at my office. she told me that i must go to another police station to make the report as that is not under their district. I was like 'huh?' However, i managed to make a police report. That policewoman did not even listen properly to the incident i was telling and she started to type on her own. Since she did not attentively listen to what i was saying, she got things wrong and asked us to write the story down. I was lucky that i got a friend to accompany me to the police station. (i don't even know where's the police station is... i'm a KL ppl in Penang now). Even though I've made a police report, the case wasn't open. To no avail, nothing has been done. The policewoman then called another officer (it seems that this officer has the higher rank) and he talked to me. I was asked by him 'why do i need the police report', the reason of getting a police report? (is that suppose to be a question? i wouldn't have trouble myself to lodge a report if i find it not necessary)By telling him that at least could get details on the guy from the bank, he told me to go to Maybank and get the guy's particulars and hopefully i could talk to that guy and it'll be good if he returns the money else, i'll need to treat it as a wrong investment. (wrong investment!!???) So, particularly, nothing has been done.
The next amusement thing about this is that, i went to Maybank as told by the officer the next day along with the police report and hope that i could get details on that guy. And the only thing that i found out is that they need an officer/personel to come along only authorised to view the details! (omg! how come no one told me bout it at the police station?) The guy in maybank was very helpful. He managed to help me check (i got a peep on it) about that hacker's bank account. To my surprise, there are alot of transcation to this guy account! Besides mine at 11.25am, at 11.30am there's another transaction (RM620) transfered to his account. There are several more. And at that moment, his account only left RM146! Doesn't it obvious that this guy is vigorously cheating others by hacking into other people's account? Since, nothing can be done without an officer/personel, with much despair i decided to go home. Just on the way back, i received a call from a friend from KL stating that the hacker the friend's email account to online again and now talking to him. That hacker uses the same tactic to him asking for help to transfer money using maybank2u. I asked my friend to entertain him to see if it is the same guy, same bank account number. So, when i reached home. I tried to talk to that guy again. He's using the same conversation again! (omg! doesn't he remember that he has already conned me?) by making it sounds like i'm talking to my friend, i talked to him again. So, as predicted. He asked the same question again and the whole lot conversations were the same. And without any surprise, the name and the bank account number is the same! So, i called the police station where i make a report yesterday to tell them about it. The policeman who picked up the phone was so rude. Then, i told him bout the incident and my report number and told him that this guy is in action again. And yet, another disappointment. The policeman said that there's nothing he could do as he can't get out of the police station and he then gave me a hp number to call. I called that officer who's responsible for this kind of cases but only got 'i'm busy at the moment. i'm taking some statement here' as the answer. My KL friend who got the whole conversation which of course, the same account number and the same name - went to make a police report and requested to open up a case for this. After waiting for 4 hours at the police station and listening to the policemen saying that there's nothing they can do, there's no evidence and a more ridiculous question thrown to my friend is "Berapa Ribu kau hilang?" (how many thousands you have lost?)
Isn't it the police's responsibility to track this fella down? And why am i the one suppose to get the particulars from Maybank? Doesn't he knows that we're not authorise to do any checking on people's particulars unless there's an officer/personel together with the police report only could do that? Why am i not told about it when i'm at the police station lodging the report? And isn't it the job of the police to get evidences on this guy who is doing the crime? It doesn't matter on how much we got cheated, it is still our money and furthermore, what if that i'm not the only person being conned here? Imagine, each person he conned RM400, so if he managed to con 10 people, that would make it RM 4000 per day! I am seriuosly being dissappointed with the act of the police force. It's as if they are imaginary since they claimed that they could do nothing about it. And these kind of crimes will continue and it'll be even worse as there's no action being take and these culprits will happily commit these crimes without being afraid of getting caught.
So, people! What you can do now is be more extra careful when you're dealing with your money. Always verify with the people you're sending money to, no matter how close he/she to you. And don't assume that your friend's/family's eamil account is not being hacked!
p/s: this is part of the conversation I got (the day after when he's trying to con me again) And I got to know from maybank that he's account is from kuching, Sarawak

Eevet's dinner
Sarawak mia instant noodle, sponsored by my housemate ... I called it instant mee , as it is cooked very fast-- throw inside the boiling water and 2 seconds it is done!
No, I don't know what it's called . It's true that you can only get the noodles in Sarawak.
That is not the right way to cook the noodle (with baked bean). According to the supplier aka my housemate, the noodle is best to be mixed with oil, with fried onions, and soya sauce.
As usual, I dumped what I left in the fridge to the pot ...
The noodle is not fried , unlike the other instant noodle. It is dried. It tastes a bit like "min-seen", another type of noodles or meesua in hokkien, which my mom used to cook with the ikan bilis soup. It absorbs the sauce quite efficiently , hence I think it is nice to be served with "saucy" "juicy" dish with a superb nice gravy.
The corn aka jagung is sponsored by another housemate.. from the research garden that she is working in.. no.. not GM food, kay!
Who say I don't take care of my diet? Nah! Prove ! kay! I got corn as my vege, egg and bean as protein source , and noodles as carbohydrate. :P blek~
If you know the best way to serve the noodle , tell me ! tell me! It's Sarawak Instant Mee!!!
hehe.. NOW TIME TO EAT!! SLURP SLURP!

Mario theme song by Zach
It brought back lots of memories...
Mario was one of my favourite video game back to my childhood... hehe I started playing video games when I was like standard 1 ,2? Was always fighting with my sis and cousin and bugged them to play the video game with me when I was small.Granny didn't quite like us at that time as we used to sit in front of the TV with our game-set for hours till she couldn't watch her favourite show. Now we no more live under the same roof. Kind of miss them.I wonder what happened to those playstation , I think most probably Granny had thrown them away. She likes to throw things away without asking our permission, inclusive my sis and my whole collection of cassettes (original one, we don't buy pirated cassettes since we are in Primary School liao) when we left home for our studies. Now it's hard to get those old albums as they are no more available in the market (eg the Grasshopper first few albums , Huang yun lin, Harlem Yu's old album and my own secondary school's performance record as well as my kindergarden's piano teacher's record etc )
Despite this, Granny is still a loving old grumpy nanny; She loves us. It's just that she does not value things that we treasure (and tends to throw them away~ aiya heart pain pain).
Hey, when got time, let's play Mario~
Awesome Talented guitarist
Oh man, isn't it a masterpiece! I am really impressed by Zach Kim.
Can't wait to share with you guys that love and appreciate music!

Beefy diary
After lecture, I "kesi-kesi" (pretend) to help the lecturer sending the tray of meat to the lab. My lecturer knows me too well, and she allows me to take those chunk back home.. hoo hoo~
This was my very first time to cook beef.
Maybe I should try stir fry? like those shown in the drama series where the handsome hero will cook steak and wait for the heroin to come over .. or should I fry it like the one in "tie pie tong" (hawker stall)?
In the end , I tried both. The taste is good, but the texture is .... very chewy.. good exercise for my face and teeth.
Right : " chewing-gum fry beef with carrots and cucumber"
Still got quite a lot of meat (Sirloin mar.. big big chunk of meat)
The first thing I did when I woke up is -- open the fridge, and take out the meat(must finish it, scare it will rot . I tend to left my food in the fridge till the bacteria "decompose" it well.)
Hence, I learnt my lesson. I decided to stew / slow cook the meat.
Dang dang dang dang....
It tastes so yummy, tender and juicy.
Brought it to school to feed my hungry newphew. Then to my closest coursemates's house to let them taste..(they came last night to try my first product. Even though they didn't say anything, from their expression and lack of action, I knew that they were more like being forced to finish the beefy chewing-gum . )
I think I deserve a second chance.
At first they are quite reluctant to take the first bite. Everyone kept on gazing each other and saying:" You try first la... you try first la... "
At last , Q took the first bite. Suddenly her eyes shine like a star, " Soft and delicious!" Within a second, she took another bite. While the other quickly took over the fork and put a piece of the meat inside her mouth. " Yummy! "
I was really syok while watching them eating happily. It compensates my tiredness and disappointment that I had yesterday.
Cooking can be very tiring. Hence we have to give thanks to those who cook for us.
Here's my beefy noodles recipe.. it taste like the taiwan noodle with minced beef

Thank God
Thank God for the rain on my way back home from the clinic;
Thank God for friend that is willing to share the lecture notes when my pendrive is not working;
Thank God for the unanswered call to Jusco;
Thank God for sending me home back safe and sound, though my bike's engine was suddenly turned off (mati engine la ~) twice in the middle of the road, once nearly mati engine on the roundabout;
Thank God that I was able to turn on the engine after 20 trial? 30 trials? not sure la... to kick start my bike.
Thank God for bringing me good news that my friend's mom has started attending church even though she can't understand a word of Tamil and hardly understand English.... ...
Thank God. Thank you Lord.
Amen.

:'( He has left
Though it's a good thing for him.
But my heart is aching.
I thought I could be cool... ....
Tears are welling in my eyes.
No, I shouldn't cry. It's a blessing to him.

Enjoy.
How often do you let other people’s nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? Unless you’re the Terminator, you’re probably set back on your heels. However, the mark of your success is how quickly you can refocus on what’s important in your life."
It's worth reading, go and check it out.

Learning that.. ...
There are thorns within the roses .
Learning that everyone is different. The boundaries of the Universe is unreachable, the depth of the hole is unseen.
Some people are sucks, and they will expect you either sucks up with them. And all credits goes to their suck-up attitude.
Learning that some people prefers to communicate with a mask , rather than be frank to each other.
Learning that all these are just parts and parcels of life. That sometimes ego is greater than any other thing.
Even friends.
Learning that fake sometimes are more favourable than the true one.
The only One that we can totally show our true -self is God.
Cause we can't hide anything from Him. He knows us. He creates us.
学着去接受生命中总无法完美。艳丽的玫瑰, 刺手的。
虽然已知道每人有所不同,但偶尔仍然忘记了真理不是人人能接受。自己也不是如此
